Hard metal blades

Arctic Machine´s hard metal blade is a very cost-efficient wear blade option for snow ploughs and centre-mounted scrapers. Our blades are available with both flat and tooth edge profiles.

Flat hard metal blades

You should mainly use the flat hard metal blades on front-mounted and side-mounted ploughs on main and back roads. Hard metal increases the lifespan of the blade remarkably and therefore lowers its cost per kilometre.

Tooth edge hard metal blades

You can use tooth edge hard metal blades, for example, on centre-mounted scrapers, snow ploughs, snow blowers as wells as levelling drags. They are excellent for removing snow from passages in urban areas and from yards.

As the snow is being removed, the tooth edge blade also roughens the road surface and even reveals the road beneath the packed snow. The lifespan of the blade is outstanding due to the hard metal construction.
